Tour Plan
DAY 1 Gangtok : Arrival & Leisure Day
On your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Airport, you will be taken to the hotel for your stay here. On the way, capture some glimpses of mighty Himalayas and other picturesque landscapes. On reaching the hotel, check-in and make way to your room to relax and freshen up. You have the rest of the day at leisure. Head out in the evening and venture the city on your own. Visit the MG Marg for shopping in Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 Gangtok : Sightseeing Tour
On the second day of your trip, have a hearty breakfast and then get ready for the day’s tour. You will begin the tour by covering sightseeing places of Gangtok city. Begin by visiting the most significant monastery in Gangtok- Do Drul Chorten. Other points of interest on this Gangtok honeymoon sightseeing tour includes, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, handloom and handicrafts centre, Bakthang waterfalls, and Enchey monastery. After that, visit Tashi View Point to catch spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga which is the third highest peak in the world. End your day by attending a flower show at the botanical garden and return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
DAY 3 Gangtok: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
On the third day of your tour, you will be visiting some special attractions in Gangtok.Complete your breakfast and get ready to head out. First, you will be visiting Tsomgo Lake which is situated at a height of 12,400 feet featuring exceptional views and plaid waters. The next stop will be at the Baba Mandir which is a temple dedicated to martyr Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life for the nation. On your way, you will also get a chance to visit the strategic pass- Nathula Pass, offshoot the Old Silk Road. However, the permit is subject to availability. After an exciting day, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 4 Gangtok to Darjeeling
Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the fourth day of your tour and get ready to leave the hotel in Gangtok and start your journey to Darjeeling. You will be driven to Darjeeling by our representative. On reaching Darjeeling, check-in at the hotel and make way to your room to wash off the weariness. To make the most of the day, step out to explore the local surroundings and learn more about the Buddhist culture that prevails here. After spending the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 5 Darjeeling : Sightseeing
Enjoy beautiful vistas of sunrise at dawn from atop the Tiger Hill. Watch the sun peeking over Mt. Kanchenjunga, painting the sky, orange. You will be taken for a visit to Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Batasia is an extremely gorgeous train paths in the town catching attention of vacationers for the past many years while Ghoom Monastery is one of the oldest Buddhist shrines in Darjeeling. After that, proceed to visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Ava Art Gallery, the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda. As you wind up the day, return to the hotel and for overnight stay.
DAY 6 Darjeeling : Departure
On the last day of your tour, enjoy a delicious breakfast. Post breakfast, get ready to leave the hotel and start your journey way back home. Our representative will take you to the railway station/airport as per your plan. Your tour ends here.
